About Me

Horses nutrition and well being has always been of great interest to me, and so very important to get a happy healthy balance for each horse.

Being a distributor of Top Spec I am also able to obtain the appropriate Top Spec product for each client. Many people have asked me why I only endorse TopSpec and the answer is simple the results witnessed by myself over the years with all clients horses are truly amazing. I have seen underweight horses with a dull coat transform into an animal able to maintain a good top line and shiny healthy looking coat. Initially when I carry out my consultation of a new client, I always take a photograph of the horse, and how it looks before commencing on the feed plan, and again three to four weeks after. I have been very lucky in my life to have worked with horses, and my passion for them has most certainly led to the career path, which I now find myself on.

10.04.17 What a transformational product! I have now been using TopSpec Super Conditioning Flakes for 2 months. I am amazed by the visual transformation of my mare, but that’s not all. My mare is a coming 6yr old Warmblood who I use for dressage, and whose workload has steadily been increasing as she progresses. She had just started competing from December and I was getting a little conscious that her coat seemed dull, she was getting tired a little more quickly and I was quite frankly a little embarrassed. She was having 3 huge haynets a night and 2 feeds a day, plus turnout. Where was I going wrong? Let me point out my mare was not underweight and she has no health issues whatsoever. I was just wondering where my gleaming, head turning girl had gone. TopSpec Super Conditioning Flakes were recommended to be by Sarah Gallantree of Equestrian Solutions who has been working alongside Top Spec for some time now, and is an Independent Nutrition Consultant and Mobile Retailer. I was worried about adding another product to her feeds as I didn’t want to add too much sugar and hot her up (my assumption). I was reassured it wouldn’t have this affect, but it did have all of the other nutrients that she may have been missing in any quantity from her current feeding regime such as some of the fatty oils, protein and calcium. Oh. My. Word. What a difference. After about a week, she seemed to be able to maintain her energy levels a little better during schooling sessions and her attention span was noticeably different. This continued for a few weeks of improvement but with only a small difference to her condition visually. By the end of the first month and into the middle of month 2, I have a different horse. She has filled out, gained Topline, beautiful muscle tone and is very happy. As am I. Her coat is gleaming and I have just fallen in love with her all over again. The conditioning flakes were gradually introduced to her feeds and the amount has been increased to a manageable level suitable for my mare and her workload. I would recommend anyone looking to try a change in their horse’s feeding regime should seek advice as to the right product to use and for you and your horses’ lifestyle. My girl is still only a young horse and we have a long way to top, but with the right people around you for training and feeding, it’s a lot more of an enjoyable journey!

She has helped get my ex racers on the perfect diet for keeping weight on whilst not hotting them up! Rebecca Holmes is a up and coming rider, who has home bred two beautiful youngsters, that she is now bringing on. I was lucky enough to have joined Rebecca on her journey back in 2017 when Bridget the mother of the youngsters was introduced to me.

Becki's Journey

Hi I'm Becki, I'm 32 and from Leicester! I met Sarah around 7 years ago when I first started out trying to compete with the hopes to do the wobbleberry challenge (complete a BE80 for the charity Hannahs Willberry Wonderpony), on my little mare Bridget! Sarah taught me the importance of correct nutrition when trying to get a horse eventing fit and making sure all my horses were on a correct diet to suit them! Since then she has continued to be on hand to help and support me and my string of wonderful horses! I have been lucky enough to complete the wobbleberry challenge, continue going up the eventing levels, competing successfully at BE90 and training at BE100, before my event horse Buck had to retire from jumping! Since then we took to dressage where we had great success, some of our most fond memories were competing at Blenheim Palace International in the ror regional finals, winning the ROR national championship unaffiliated novice league and then continuing to train up the levels and doing our first test in tails, before Buck sadly had to retire due to old age! Since then I focused on retraining ex racers, while quietly in the back ground breeding two wonderful foals from my lovely mare! Again Sarah has always been on hand, from feeding the foals correctly, to helping transition racers straight out of training onto feeds to help them in their new lives! Good diet plans have allowed me to transition all my horses including my ex racers to bare foot, which is something I never thought I'd be able to do! The last year has been very exciting seeing my first homebred being backed and starting his ridden career! This year we have focused on training, however we have started dabbling in British Dressage and aim to affiliate with British Show jumping at the end of the year! I'm so blessed to have been asked to be a sponsored rider for SG Equestrian Solutions, and I'm very excited to see where this journey takes us :)
